Time left

I got it all backwards.
I thought that the time we have left was all the days to come until the last.
And all the days that were already gone were the ones I’ve had.

Nope.
Time has left us.

Every day that goes by is a day left behind.
We still have every day ahead of us.

I haven’t left you either – I still have some of you inside me, and that comforts me everyday.
